New KART website.
The KART website just went live. I was commissioned to make them a new website as they were unhappy with their old one (not done by me). The client seemed very excited and pleased with the final design. You can visit their webpage here.

Source Programming
So, I’m thinking of making use of all the experience I’ve gained from my programming past into something practical. I’m going to start programming for the Source Engine by Valve. So far so good. I’ll report back if I make anything cool.

Internship
Well it would seem almost coincidental that I heard back from that internship shortly after posting about not hearing back from them. Cool stuff. So I wasn’t really sure if I’d want to take it or not since it is, you know, an unpaid internship. Run mainly by students. On campus. And it takes 16 hours a week. And I had a girlfriend that I talked to every day. However, since some...
Blog
Seems I haven’t been keeping a blog, despite having one. Guess it’s not a coincidence that the last post I made was the day I began dating my current girlfriend. Ah well.
I’m working on some web development ventures. I applied for an internship that I haven’t heard back from. I finished a second religious article on Pentecostalism. And I don’t have to attend my CS...

Social Networking
I’m intrigued by the idea of creating a social network, as suggested by numerous friends of mine. It seems like an idea that’s materialization might be worth procuring. What do you guys think? Good idea? I will likely need to group of thinkers to help me plan out the premise (Facebook’s premise being all about walls / news feeds, MySpace’s premise being all about being a...

WKU Programming Cometition '10
Well, as it turns out, I’ll likely not be able to attend the Western Kentucky University programming competition. It seems that my IB test is on the same day as the competition, which is May 7th. I am disappoint, IB. Sigh.
My FBLA state competition is in a week and a half. It would be quite amazing if I even placed there. Especially since I didn’t last year and had no feedback to...

So I'm writing a story...
I hope it’ll be good. I mean, who wouldn’t want a story of theirs to be good? I guess someone who didn’t want people to enjoy it; however I do want people (whomever they might be) to enjoy reading it. I might even make a short film out of it someday (provided I ever get that Red One I’ve had my eye on forever…) At any rate, I’ll post my story up here later (once...
The Year of Firsts
So recently I attended the regional competition of region 2 FBLA in Kentucky. The event I was participating in was oh so appropriately titled “E-Business;” it consisted of created a website for a fictional event, my school’s 50th reunion celebration. The website I created for it can be found here. It was based off of the FireSoft website I had created for my company previously,...

Half-Life 2: GoldSrc
We’re alive! We’re alive! Yes, we’ve begun progress on my formerly unnamed mod. It is now Half-Life 2: GoldSrc (working title). You can view the site at the aptly named address, http://HL2GoldSrc.com/ Stop by our forums and have a chat with us!
An Unnamed Mod!
So, as it turns out, I might be leading a mod team in recreating Half-Life 2 in the GoldSrc engine. How fun. I’m currently setting up a forum, and then inevitably a website for the mod. We have some interest on both the developer side as well as the potential fanbase side. I’ll keep you guys updated. Oh yes, and if you can come up with a name for such a project, post below.

International Baccalaureate Computer Science.
I’m quite curious about how academics will be like beginning this autumn for me. In all my computer science classes I have always known more than the teacher, far surpassing my classmates and inevitably becoming bored. University, however, will be different (at least I sure hope so…). I wonder if I’ll feel inferior in that situation. I wonder if I’ll be ahead of the class...

Web 2.0
So, it seems that to be a “good” web developer in today’s age you must have a good understanding of CSS. Now there’s plenty of other things you should know just as well, but CSS sticks out to me because it wasn’t until just recently that I learned how to effectively use it. I was stuck in table-design-hell; I didn’t know any better. It’s not like I was...
College.
Let me start out by saying that this could quite possibly be the most boring blog you’ll ever read in all your life. Despite the fanciful language, eloquence and rhetoric that will inevitably be found in this blog, I’m sure you’ll find the stories quite insignificant and drab. That aside, I have too much to write about to not have a blog. Plus blogs are professional, right? Right? Well, either...
